Umami Rich Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Leek, sliced
  • 1 Carrot, diced
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 1/2 Cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 gal. Water
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, Gluten-Free
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh herbs

Directions

  • 1 In a large pot over medium heat, add vegetables and water and bring to a boil. Lower heat to low and slowly simmer for 45 mins.
  • 2 Strain vegetable broth through a sieve, reserving vegetables to eat separately.
  • 3 Add broth back to pot.
  • 4 Stir in Sempio Gluten-free Soy Sauce right before serving.
  • 5 Serve with freshly crushed black pepper and fresh herbs, if you like.
